Amsterdam RAI from city centre by metro
Use metro M52 to get to RAI Amsterdam from Amsterdam’s central station or the city centre. Get off at the Europaplein metro stop. The metro departs every 5 minutes and it takes 8 minutes to get you to the Keukenhof Express (Bus 852) departure location. From Europaplein (RAI) Amsterdam you can take the Keukenhof Express (Bus 852) straight to Keukenhof. This bus departs up to ten times an hour and it takes approx. 35 minutes to get to Keukenhof.

Travel to Leiden Central station. There you can transfer to the Keukenhof Express (Bus 854).

It is correct that you do not have to choose a time slot for your entrance at Keukenhof or your return journey. The time when you travel back is decided on the spot and you do not need to book.
Do I have to reserve a time slot for Keukenhof and the return trip with a combi-ticket?
No, with a combi-ticket you only reserve the departure time for the outward journey with the Keukenhof Express bus, not the arrival time slot for your entrance at Keukenhof or your return journey. The time of your return trip can you decide on the spot and does not need to be reserved.

The Keukenhof Express bus journey from Amsterdam RAI, Schiphol Airport and Leiden Central Station takes about 30 minutes. The journey from Haarlem Station takes about 40 minutes.
