On Saturday 18 April 2026, the world-famous Flower Parade of the Bollenstreek will travel its colorful 42 km route from Noordwijk to Haarlem. The parade also passes Keukenhof, along the specially named Keukenhof Boulevard, located next to parking area P1 near the park’s main entrance. This is a unique opportunity to experience the Flower Parade up close during your visit to Keukenhof.
Expect limited access on 18 April
The Bollenstreek and Keukenhof will be very busy on the day of the Flower Parade.
Want to visit Keukenhof without traffic delays or road closures? We strongly recommend choosing another day for a more relaxed experience.
Visiting Keukenhof on 18 April – Important travel info
Are planning to visit Keukenhof during the parade? Make sure you arrive before 11:00 AM. After that time, several roads in the Bollenstreek will be closed for the Flower Parade.
Keukenhof’s main parking area (P1) will then be inaccessible. Between late morning and late afternoon, you won’t be able to enter or leave P1, whether you travel by car or public transport.
