Keukenhof B.V. (Keukenhof) is meticulous when it comes to the privacy and (private) data of its (online) visitors. This privacy statement states how Keukenhof deals with your private data, which data Keukenhof collects and uses, and for which purposes it does so. We recommend you read this privacy statement carefully.

In principle, Keukenhof only processes private data because you use its services and/or because you provide the aforementioned data to us yourself. We have reasons for requesting information. We require this information to improve our service. Which private data does Keukenhof collect?

Newsletter
When you subscribe for our newsletter we ask for your e-mail address. We need the latter in order to inform you of news concerning Keukenhof by e-mail. You can opt to augment your profile with a number of private details. This allows us to make the newsletter as relevant as possible for you. To be able to send you a personalised newsletter we require your name. We process your data on a platform managed by a third party. All our newsletters contain a link that allows you to unsubscribe i.e. you can unsubscribe from the newsletter concerned at any time. Your data will then immediately be removed from the platform.

Online tickets
If you purchase tickets and/or other Keukenhof products online we request your name and e-mail address. We require this information to be able to send you the e-ticket(s) you have purchased. When you visit Keukenhof we scan your ticket and register the date of your visit. This data is collected for statistic purposes.
Ticket sales are provided by Ticketcounter B.V. Your private data is deleted a maximum of 26 months after your purchase.

Contact form
If you complete a reservation or contact form on our website, we request the name, e-mail address, telephone number and home town of the contactee. This data is only used to process the request. We will retain your data as long as necessary to process your request and/or the cooperation lasts.

Job applications
When you respond to a job opening at Keukenhof we collect your name, e-mail address, all the private data you list in your CV, motivational letter and all other enclosed documents. This data is solely used for the job application procedure. Your data will be stored for a maximum of 4 weeks after the recruitment and selection period.

Basic tennets

The processing of private data by Keukenhof will only take place if you give permission to do so and/or if processing is essential for the delivery of your order and/or if Keukenhof haas a justified interest to this end and does not infringe on your privacy as a result. If you give permission for your private data to be processed you have the right to withdraw this permission at any time.

Who does Keukenhof share your private data with?
Keukenhof does not sell your private dat to third parties. We also obnly share your data if this is necessary to carry out opur agreement with you. We have concluded processing agreements with the companies that process your data. This ensures that your data is processed in a safe, confidential manner and is adequately secured.

How can you exercise your privacy rights?
You can view and modify your private data or have it deleted. If you wish to do any of these things, please e-mail privacy@keukenhof nl. If the overview of private data provided to you is incorrect, please send us an e-mail requesting that we modify them for you.

Do you have questions or a complaint?
The protection of your data is important to Keukenhof and it has introduced suitable technical and organisational measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised acces, undesirable publication and unsanctioned modification. Keukenhof uses Google Analytics. This allows us to analyse the way in which visitors use our website. This enables us to, for instance, improve the user friendliness of our website. Naturally we do so in a privacy-friendly manner. When you visit our website your data is anonymised in other words we cannot recognise you as an inpidual.
