Regardless of when you visit, the boat tour along the flower fields offers stunning views of typical Dutch landscapes.
What happens if I miss the boat?
The ticket for the canal tour along the flower fields is time-specific and only valid for the reserved time slot. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds if the boat is missed. To avoid disappointment, we recommend arriving 15 minutes before the boat’s departure.

How long in advance should I go to the box office to collect my tickets?
You can collect the tickets from the box office next door to the windmill 15 minutes before departure.
How long is the walk from the entrance of Keukenhof to the boats for a canal tour along the flower fields?
From both entrances of Keukenhof, it’s about a 20-minute walk through the park to the boat boarding point. The easiest way is to follow the route towards the windmill, as the boarding point is located right next to it.
I have limited mobility. Can I join the boat tour along the flower fields?
Yes, you can join the boat tour along the flower fields, as long as you can board and disembark the boat with a little assistance. The staff will be happy to help you. The boat itself is not wheelchair accessible, but visitors can leave their wheelchair at the boarding point.
Where can I leave the stroller, or is it allowed on the boat?
Unfortunately, strollers cannot be taken on board during the canal tour along the flower fields. You can leave the stroller at the boarding point at your own risk. We recommend taking any valuable items from the stroller with you during the boat tour.
Can I take a wheelchair on the boat during the canal tour along the flower fields?
Unfortunately, the boats used for the canal tour along the flower fields are not wheelchair accessible. Visitors can leave their wheelchair at the boarding point. However, Keukenhof itself is wheelchair-friendly.
Can I bring my dog on the boat during the canal tour along the flower fields?
Yes, dogs are welcome on the boat during the canal tour along the flower fields, as long as they are on a leash.
Can I walk in the bulb fields?
No, you may not walk in the bulb fields as this damages the bulbs. The fields are owned by the bulb growers. You can however photograph them from the boat.
Do you supply life jackets for children?
You can borrow life jackets for kids and we will help them put them on.
