Lisse, on Thursday 3 October, Keukenhof garden staff planted the first bulbs of a flower mosaic. A start has been made with this flower mosaic on planting seven million flower bulbs in Keukenhof.

Everyone loves flowers, spring, tulips and the colorful bulb fields. Flowers and colors belong everywhere in the world to parties and rituals, in every culture in its own way. Keukenhof will have a beautiful weather in 2020. The mosaic is planted in two layers for longer flowering in the spring. 50,000 flower bulbs have been used: tulip, muscari and crocus. When planting the mosaic, the accent is given to the autumn planting at Keukenhof. In the coming months, around seven million flower bulbs will be planted in the park.
